I've never really felt like I was a girl that could, or should wear pearls; perhaps because I feel that they're a little too proper... and well, I'm not!
Affectionately gifted to me by a friend's aunt, this necklace has a bit of an edge. I love how the multi-strand of pearls becomes woven into one wide band around the back of the neck. As I write this, my mind is a flutter with the endless possibilities of layering it with rhinestones, beads, and maybe even a broach or two... on second thought, maybe I'm a girl that can wear pearls... with an edge!
