Yesterday was busy day. Breakfast with friends, a princess birthday party for a special 7 year old, vintage shopping in the neighbourhood, some floral arranging and a fabulous DIY 'operation jean jacket makeover' for a friend (that I will be sure to post when finished). It also marked the first blog post that I am not wearing anything vintage or thrifted, although the skirt, a recent purchase inspired by the 1950's could very well pass for vintage. Sometimes just the inspiration is enough.
I love how the simplicity of a black t-shirt and skirt can be transformed with a serious neon satchel and an 'arm party' of bracelets. The phrase 'arm party' coined by Leandra Medine of The Manrepeller makes me laugh every time I think of it. It is the perfect explanation for wearing waaaaaay too many bracelets....Oh, no, I really meant to wear all of these at one time, it is my arm party!
So when you think that you are done layering them on, toss on a few more, after all it is a party!
Another busy day planned today, enjoy and Happy Father's Day!
