day 2 FAT 2016

Evan Biddell
As a tribute to the late David Bowie and dedicated to Bowie's wife Iman, Evan Biddell's REBEL collection was a fitting nod to the rocker and model.  The first half saw models strutting hard down the runway to the blaring sounds of one of Bowie's anthems, Under Pressure.  The collection not surprisingly had a heavy 70's influence; that I loved.  Models in the second half of the show floated down the runway in ivory silk dresses, resembling angels. The contrast of the two collections, flamboyant vs classic, much like the subjects themselves.  The final walk was celebrated by onlookers, all on their feet, to applaud two great icons and one designers' beautiful vision.  Bravo!
